Title of Project: Study of architecture art and engineering characteristics of Islamic period construction in north provinces of Afghanistan.

To be promoted to the scientific Professor

Duration of implementation:  6/9/1397 – 6/9/1403

   This academic and investigative Project contains: introduction, five chapters, conclusion, suggestions and sources.

First chapter: repetition over history of the title.

Second chapter: study of architecture art and engineering characteristics of Islamic period construction in north provinces of Afghanistan.

1. North eastern provinces Badakhshan,Takhar, kunduz and Baghlan.
2. North provinces: Balkh, Gawzjan, Sari-e-Pul and Faryab.

Third chapter: study of under investigation construction motifs.

1. Quality of pondantifes transposition in the semilunar are of construction
2. Method and style of connecting arcs and v in the internal pasture of construction.
3. Regulation of Rensoes and parallel lines according to inside and outside constructional plan of construction.
4. Molding in outside of Islamic period constructions (plinths and ceilings) 

Fourth chapter: dating of under investigation constructions

1. From Islamic period constructions structural situation point of view with contemplating architecture rules and periods.
2. Notation from point of constructions planning and method of architecture in Samanian, Ghaznawian and Timorian periods.
3. Dating of Islamic period constructions according to comparable configurations in architectural making.

Fifth chapter: comparison, analysis and destination of Islamic period constructions architecture art and engineering characteristics with Afghanistan’s Northern provinces.

1. From constructional point.
2. Method and style of architecture.
3. Application of constructional material.
4. Decorative of constructions.
5. Analysis and quality of coloration.
6. Local embellishments in constructions.
7. Quality prescribed form of writing inscriptions and quality of their style.

Target of Research

   I will express many subjects about studying architecture art and engineering characteristics of Islamic period constructions in Northern provinces witch till now there isn’t so coherent and all-out information above it, hereupon I will endeavour to investigate over different dimensions of mentioned subject.

Necessity of Research

   For better enlightening of this subject, I deem it necessary to investigate about architecture art and engineering of Islamic period constructions in Northern provinces of Afghanistan, those Islamic period constructions witch express early people of this people art and culture, I will investigate over dimensions of Islamic period in north of Afghanistan.

Method of Research:

   In writing of this academic and investigative project from site research, analytic, comparative and library methods will be used.

   By investigation on this academic project I will explain unsaid parts of Islamic period constrictions to produce exact and worthy documents for future generation of this country.
