Pashto Phonotactics (Vocal) structure and limitations

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to measure the quantity of Phonotactics and its constraints in Pashto word initial, medial and final positions. Phonotactics shows the allowance, order and number of consonants in a specific language syllable structure on its onset and coda positions.
For the quality and quantity of phonotactics and constraint of Pashto words, Phonological and morphological principles were used. Phonotactics shows the arrangement and sequence of consonants that take place word initially and finally. As well as phonotactics and constraints were analyzed on the basis of Pashto syllable structure and principles.
In syllable structure and syllabification of Pashto words, place and manner of articulation of speech sounds specially consonants were kept in mind, because in all position of words it has its significant role. The findings of the research paper were shown in an explicit table, which indicate that consonant that come and do not come together in particular order in word initial, medial or final position. Phonotactics and constraint has its important role in phonology and morphology of a language, which causes grammatical and semantical changes in words of that language.
