The Deputy for Human Sciences operates within the organizational framework of the Afghanistan Sciences Academy. It oversees six specialized centers: the Center for Social Sciences, the Center for Regional Studies, the International Center for Pashto Studies, the Center for Archaeology, the Center for Kushani Studies, and the Center for Language and Literature. Each center is dedicated to conducting academic research in its respective field, adhering to both national and international standards.
Objectives
To advance knowledge and culture by conducting academic research in the field of human sciences.
Mission
• Conducting research to promote national and regional languages and cultures.
• Organizing academic conferences to address critical national, regional, and global issues.
• Offering policy recommendations to sectoral organizations.
• Collaborating with governmental universities to facilitate Master’s and PhD programs.
• Undertaking research on the history and culture of Afghanistan.
