Science and Technology Journal
The Science and Technology Journal is a scientific–research publication in the fields of natural and technical sciences, published under the auspices of the Natural and Technical Sciences Section of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan. This journal was established to reflect the scientific, research, and technological activities and achievements of scholars, researchers, and experts in various scientific fields at both national and international levels. The Science and Technology Journal is also recognized and registered as a reputable publication by UNESCO.
This scientific–research journal was founded in 1386 H.S. (2007 A.D.). However, due to certain technical issues, its publication has occasionally been interrupted. The leadership of the Academy of Sciences remains committed to the continuous publication of this journal with steady and firm steps. This journal, with its credibility, plays an important role in publishing the scientific–research articles of scholars. The aforementioned journal continuously strives to provide a suitable platform for publishing the results of scientific–research and technological studies in the form of scientific articles. Moreover, the Science and Technology Journal publish articles on the development of innovations, scientific initiatives, and technological achievements of scholars and specialists.
The Science and Technology Journal is administratively headed by a editor in chief, and the first editor was Mr. Faqir Muhammad Rahmati. The editorial board of this journal consists of researchers from the Academy of Sciences, university professors, and a member of UNESCO. Among the members of the editorial board, Muhammad Osman Thamin was the first member affiliated with UNESCO. The editorial board is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, editing, and formatting the articles in accordance with the publishing policy of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan. Articles, after undergoing scientific and technical review, are published in this journal.
The journal is published periodically by the Publishing Directorate of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan, and so far, seven (7) issues have been released. This publication is printed and distributed in a circulation of 500 copies.
